An great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Lettings manager to join our Independent multi office client, based in Surrey Quays SE16

A minimum of 2 years Lettings experience, however charisma, determination, energy and an outgoing personality are the main characteristics needed for this vibrant and forward thinking company.  

As an Assistant Lettings Manager you will be confident in dealing with properties and clients across the range into the very top end and be involved in the whole Property Letting process from generating market appraisal and instructions, carrying out viewings and negotiating offers through to their successful move in.

You will need to have the ability to build long term business relationships with tenants and Landlords, be focused and determined in working to targets and a strong team player. 
 
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Coordinating property Market appraisals and listings
  • Effectively marketing properties to attract potential applicants
  • Matching prospective tenants to suitable properties and arranging viewings accordingly
  • Maintaining regular contact with tenants, landlords.
  • Dealing with financial/legal matters relating to the letting process
  • Guiding applicants and landlords through the letting process from agreement of the letting to legal completion
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the branch on a daily basis
  • Managing the office and staff in the managers absence. 


The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills

  • Candidates should be target-driven and have a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills and able to articulate ideas in a concise way
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • A desire to want to progress and challenge yourself continually
  • Experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Have a strong desire to succeed within a sales environment
  • Obtain a full valid UK driving licence


This Assistant Lettings Manager position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with long term career prospects. Local experience is not essential, however an understanding on the company structure and local area is preferred

The hours will be:           
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.30pm
Saturdays 9.00am - 5.00pm with a day off in the week. Up to a maximum of two Saturdays off a month. 

Salary range will be:      
£25K.000pa Basic salary OTE of around £50,000pa - £60.000pa Plus Car allowance
